I never trust a fellow who wears more than one piece of gold jewelry.

Wondered about that myself.
Reminds me of guys who wear a belt, and suspenders.

Pretty cool. Report back Chris will you? Looks like there would be lots of applications for lutherie.

Also, let us know if it came with a Pocket Fisherman.

I bought these about a year and a half ago and have yet to find a use for them. I make furniture and guitars.

I find the small ones attached to the end of my clamps to be the most useful. ;)

Indeed, the jewelry is a bit much, but nothing compared to the outrageous claim that the product is the first vise innovation in thousands of years.

Any number of us have been making similar pads for our entire careers - like the leather backed plywood ones I use on my vise:

Depends which way you are standing Chris !!!!

As for LMI bring cheaper .. its all perspective .. they are priced in $USD, which right now is at about a 25% premium to $CDN .. plus there are 3 LV stores in my vicinity (greater Toronto area), hence no shipping. .. plus I am going to drive right by the head office on the way to the Ottawa guitar show this weekend !!!
